Today I listened to Beautiful Boys by Yoko Ono.

One line stayed with me.

As I listened, it occurred to me that I have carried fear for much of my life. Fear of what, I'm not entirely sure. Perhaps simply the fear of not being good enough.

Then another thought quietly followed.

I was loved anyway.

For a moment, everything looked a little different.

And that felt good.
