Parables

Everyone speaks in parables. The Bible and the Bhagavad Gita both explain reality through parables. And even mathematics, in a sense, is a parable—the story of one plus one equaling two, the story of the right-angled triangle, and so forth.

All of these are descriptive parables about the mystery of existence, telling stories about the one and the many.

The one is a simple truth; the many is an ever‑ongoing story that can be described as God, the selves, or through the language of mathematics.
