This morning a line from Mike Oldfield's 1996 song On Horseback came to mind:
"I'd rather be with you than flying through space."
I have never ridden a horse across the wild country, but that wasn't what brought the song back to me.
It was that last line of the refrain.
We spend so much time looking towards new horizons—even distant galaxies.
And still, there is something wonderfully simple about Mike's words.
I'd rather be with you than flying through space.
Jag är också mycket hellre med dig, än att flyga uti rymden.❤️
