In yesterday's blog, I published the poem "Invictus." It is said that Nelson Mandela found solace and strength in these words during his imprisonment at Robben Island, where he spent 27 years.

The poem clearly speaks to our ability to master our own fate, regardless of how dire the circumstances may be.

It mentions the soul—a part of our being that never gives up, where hope and strength somehow always remain alive.
