This morning, during my meditation, I found myself saying, All glory to God.

I have never thought of myself as a religious person. I was raised in a post-war society where God was largely absent.

Even so, one thing seems clear to me. We, humankind, did not create the world. We did not create life. We did not create the trees and the bees. We did not create the stars, the planets, or the universe itself.

And so, I find myself a humble servant, in awe of something much bigger than myself.

This morning, I could rest in that.
