Better Myself

Turn on the Light

In my first blog, on the very first of January this year, I shared my New Year Resolution where I pledged to make this year a year of self-improvement, and to show up every day as the better version of myself. I was longing for change, I wanted to do better. And why should'nt I, - why should'nt I do my best? Life is too short to waste time. It is happening now! Every single day! I wanted this year to be significant, and I felt I had to do something about it. But what did I really mean by being the better version of myself? Well, not to be what I am not. I am not perfect, - and I can impossibly do all the stuff I sometimes feel I ought to be able to do. Let´s be honest about it, that will not happen. So, what did I mean? What is the better version of myself? Well, on a subtler level, I know there is an inner voice that can be trusted, just that I need to listen to it. I will certainly give it more room 2026. And as came fore me in my morning meditation, - it is not so much about figthing the darkness, it is more about turning on the light!

The magnificent evening-shoot from Mongolia is captured just the other day by my friend Susanne Ribberheim. See her exhibition at https://sribberheim.wixsite.com/photography
